Plans for 33 new homes in Lees Lane, Haworth, have been given permission.

The proposals for the two, three and four-bedroom houses had been recommended for approval by planning officers.

The homes will be built on a site between Lawcliffe Crescent and Cryer Meadows.

A total of eight objection letters argued the development would cause traffic congestion, loss of open green space and worsen flooding problems.

Haworth, Cross Roads and Stanbury Parish Council warned the development would first require a full road traffic survey.

Planning officers noted that eight of the new homes would be offered at an affordable cost.
