Oxenhope's recreation ground might be first in line to benefit from a £10,000 cash windfall from the sale of Leeds Bradford Airport.
Cllr Maw told members they needed to decide what exactly they would like to spend this money on.
The cash is part of a £100,000 sum being allocated to the Worth Valley Ward - all of which comes form the airport sale.
Councillors agreed the recreation ground was a prime candidate for receiving financial help.
Cllr Maw noted the village bowls club was particularly in need of better facilities.
