A chip pan left on a cooker caused severe smoke damage to the kitchen of a flat.
Firefighters - some wearing breathing apparatus - used a hose reel to extinguish the burning pan.
Two crews from Keighley Fire Station attended the incident, at about 9.20pm yesterday.
The occupants of the flat - on the first floor of Delph House, Parkwood Rise, Keighley - were uninjured.
Fire chiefs reiterate the warning to householders that chip pans should never be left unattended.
