Pedestrians and motorists are being warned to expect some disruption in East Parade, Keighley, for the next fortnight as work is carried out to restore water mains beneath the pavement.

A spokesman for Yorkshire Water said the work, which will begin on Monday, would reduce the number of available parking spaces.

But he added that workers would ensure local businesses remained accessible.

He said some properties may have their water supplies temporarily interrupted but they would be given at least 48 hours advance warning.
