Printer James Spencer is hoping luck will strike twice following his win of a luxury, away-from-it-all home.
The 32-year-old, pictured, from Riddlesden is keeping his fingers crossed that the Windermere shore pad will woo his own Lady of the Lake'.
Single James, who works at Watermill Press in Bradford, has won use of the Lake District pine lodge at White Cross Bay, near Ambleside, for a full holiday season.
Since striking it lucky, he's been inundated by friends and family wanting to join him.
James said: "I'll be using it as much as possible this year. I'm single but you never know, this might be my lucky break.
"I saw the competition which just asked people to enter their details on a website.
"I was on my way home on the bus when they rang to tell me I'd won so I couldn't actually jump for joy - but when I got home I did."
Coincidentally James - who plays football for Silsden and Bolton Woods - already knew the site, having visited it with a friend on a yachting trip.
Holiday company South Lakeland Parks, based in Kendal, ran the competition to promote its pine lodges and caravan holiday homes.
Graham Hodgson, chief executive, said: "It's only 61 miles from Keighley to Windermere, so he'll never be short of a holiday this year."
