WOULD-BE sailors can take to the waters on April 6 during an annual open day.
Denholme Sailing Club is offering visitors a chance to experience life in a boat with trained instructors and assistants.
Anyone interested can then join existing members taking a Royal Yachting Association accredited training course.
The first course of the season will be a "start sailing" course on April 13 and 20.
A level two course could be available later in the year.
Through the year there will also be short courses on race training and race techniques for novices and experienced club members.
