Business is booming for an online children's art competition.

The Mini Me Card Company, based in Keighley, was set up just over 18 months ago and has attracted 25,000 entries already.

Over 1,000 competition entries a month are coming from in-dividuals, schools and other groups such as Scouts, nurseries, art clubs and charities.

The award-winning company was founded by Mark Sut-cliffe, of Keighley.

The children win prizes and their parents can buy sets of cards with commission paid to the school or group for every set purchased.

Mr Sutcliffe said: "I saw this kind of thing being done else-where and thought it made a good business idea and I could do it even better.

"It combines getting kids creative with the chance for them to win some great prizes."

Monthly winners in each age category win a prize with an environmental theme - this year they can adopt an animal through the World Wide Fund for Nature.
