KEIGHLEY Lions president Carole Ogden has welcomed three new members to the club, one of whom is the mayor of Keighley, Councillor Luke Maunsell.
Other new members are John Wray and Julie Walters - Julie was making a welcome return after an absence of a few years.
President Carole said: "At a recent meeting of the Lions, Luke gave an interesting talk describing his walk for charity along the entire length of the Leeds Liverpool Canal.
"The meeting was concluded with a short presentation from Katie and Becky of the Alzheimer's Society."
The Lions meet at the Social Centre, Keighley Blind Association, Scott Street, Keighley on the 1st and 3rd Tuesday of each month at 7:30pm.
The club does a huge amount for charity in the district including fund raising and support.
