A NUMBER of pubs and breweries across the Keighley district are included in the latest edition of an acclaimed guide.
The Campaign for Real Ale (CAMRA) has published its 50th edition of the annual Good Beer Guide.
CAMRA national chair, Nik Antona, says: "For nearly five decades the publication has been a comprehensive guide to the UK’s breweries, their ales and the best outlets to find them in.
"The guide has always had an important role in acting as a barometer of the beer and pub industry. We believe information gleaned from it is vital to save pubs from closure and campaign for policies that better support pubs, brewers and customers."
Keighley-area pubs in the guide include the Turkey Inn, Goose Eye; Fleece Inn, Haworth; Brown Cow, Keighley; Dog & Gun, Leeming; Oakworth Social Club and the Snooty Fox, Oakworth; Bay Horse, Oxenhope, and the Friendly and Wuthering Heights, Stanbury.
In South Craven, there's the Slaters Arms, Bradley; New Inn, Cononley, and Gallagher's Ale House, Cross Hills.
Breweries featured include Goose Eye, Crossflatts; Old Spot, Cullingworth; Bridgehouse, Timothy Taylor and Wishbone, Keighley; Cobbydale, Silsden, and Bingley Brewery, Wilsden.
