UBER has launched its Local Cab initiative in Keighley.
Through the scheme, passengers can book trips with a local taxi operator via the Uber app.
Local Cab – which was piloted in May last year – has now been launched in more than 60 towns and cities, including Bradford and Leeds.
Trips in Keighley will be passed to Bens Private Hire, and it will provide all customer support.
Andrew Brem, general manager of Uber UK, says: "The Local Cab roll out is proving a success for operators, riders and local economies – helping to maximise earnings opportunities for drivers whilst giving passengers more choice. We are excited to launch in Keighley and to continue extending the product to more towns and cities across the UK."
