PEOPLE who have lost a loved one are invited to attend a special service at Haworth next month.
The Lights of Love event takes place at St Michael & All Angels Church on Sunday, December 11, from 4pm.
There will be readings, poems, carols and live music, plus a moment for reflection.
And the event will finish with refreshments, including mince pies.
Guests are invited to make a dedication, which will be displayed, in memory of a loved one.
Leading the event is Lisa Holland, spiritual co-ordinator at Oxenhope Sue Ryder hospice Manorlands, and staff and volunteers will give readings.
But anyone wishing to commemorate a loved one, regardless of whether the person was a Sue Ryder patient, is welcome to attend.
Lisa said: "We recognise that this time of year can be difficult when you're living with loss, so we hope people will join our Lights of Love event to pay tribute to loved ones sadly no longer with us."
Places are limited and will be offered on a first-come first-served basis. For more information or to register to attend, visit sueryder.org/lightshaworth, email manorlands.fundraising@sueryder.org or call 01535 640430.
For those unable to attend, dedications can be made at sueryder.dedicationpage.org/lightsoflove2022.
