A CROSS Roads-based organisation has joined the Charity Shop Gift Card scheme.
Yorkshire Cat Rescue's four shops are now selling and accepting the card.
Charity Shop Gift Card is a social enterprise, based in Elland.
Its multi-retailer card is now accepted by 36 shops across Yorkshire.
Other charities involved include the Prince of Wales Hospice, the YMCA, Shelter, Marie Curie and the Children's Society.
Lee Fellows, for Charity Shop Gift Card, says: "Charity shops play a vital role in our communities and represent a great option for anyone looking for a bargain, whilst helping their vital work."
Jason Thompson, of Yorkshire Cat Rescue, says: "As soon as I heard about Charity Shop Gift Card, I wanted to get involved. We have so many loyal customers that shop with us and I know they love the thought of being able to support not just our charity but others across the region."
