ANGLO-Saxon churches will be the subject of a talk at the next meeting of the National Trust Airedale & Wharfedale Association.
The speaker is Professor Joyce Hill.
"Professor Hill specialises in the transmission of early Christian culture in early medieval Europe," said an association spokesperson.
"Her topic will enable us to gain a glimpse of her vast knowledge in this fascinating academic area."
The meeting takes place at Shipley Library on Saturday, December 3, at 2.30pm.
Formed in 1971, the National Trust Airedale & Wharfedale Association has raised thousands of pounds in support of trust properties and appeals – particularly in the north of England.
It meets monthly between September and April, and organises excursions during the spring and summer.
