CHRISTMAS comedy Comfort And Joy is the latest offering from Keighley Playhouse.
The play – written by Mike Harding – is set over a three-day period, with alcohol flowing, tongues loosened and resentments rearing their head.
A playhouse spokesperson says: "When it comes down to actually organising the festivities, it’s up to Margaret. She knows the full routine as well as the timetable, whilst at the same time trying to keep the family on track by doing her utmost to hold it all together – as the dog runs off with the turkey!
"With some laugh-out-loud lines and a hysterical cast of characters, there is no choice other than to enter the Christmas spirit!"
Comfort And Joy is directed by Josh Breeze.
The production runs from Monday, December 5, until Saturday, December 10.
Evening performances begin at 7.30pm.
