A WOMAN was taken to hospital suffering from the effects of smoke inhalation following a fire at her home today.
She had managed to get out of her semi-detached bungalow in West Lane, Keighley, before the arrival of firefighters.
Crews from Keighley, Bingley and Shipley fire stations were called out to the incident, this morning.
They wore breathing apparatus and used a hose reel jet to tackle the blaze, which started in the living room area and affected the whole property.
A special high-pressure fan was also used, to help clear smoke.
Firefighters were at the scene for about two hours.
The cause of the fire is unknown, but it is not being treated as suspicious.
