POLICE are warning people to be on their guard after a set of ladders was stolen from the roof of a vehicle.
The theft occurred in Poplar Terrace, Keighley, at around 7.40pm on Tuesday (December 13).
Anyone with information is asked to contact the police on the non-emergency number, 101, quoting crime reference 13220684132.
West Yorkshire Police have issued general vehicle security advice to motorists.
Tips include never leave items of value in your vehicle, always remove sat-navs and their holders and ensure the sucker mark is wiped off the window, and always close windows and check the doors are locked when leaving the vehicle unattended.
And wherever feasible, don't leave any work or business-related equipment in the vehicle.
