STUDENTS from Glusburn and Sutton-in-Craven could receive grant aid from a historic charity fund.
Anyone in further education at university or college can apply for a small grant, from the Sir John Horsfall Exhibition Foundation, to help support their studies.
The foundation’s committee is now considering applications for the 2022-23 academic year.
To be eligible, applicants must either live in the parishes of Glusburn or Sutton-in-Craven or have attended community and/or voluntary schools there before they were 16.
All applicants must provide a reference from their current or past tutor to prove their suitability for a grant.
In previous years, the value of grants has been around £100.
For further information and an application form, email post16@northyorks.gov.uk.
The closing date for applications is January 31.
