MULTI-Olympic-medal-winning triathlete Jonny Brownlee paid an inspirational visit to a Keighley school.
He took part in an assembly at Holycroft Primary, where pupils learned of his numerous achievements and were given the opportunity to ask him questions about his athletics career.
Some children from Key Stage One and Two then joined Jonny in sessions – led by Charlotte McCann and Richard Taylor – that looked at improving how the youngsters run, and techniques used to run further and faster.
"The children – and staff – were all inspired to reach new heights in both physical activity and school life," says Mr Taylor, the school's sports coach.
"The pupils asked some great questions and all those who participated in the sessions worked really hard in their activities and left saying that it had been one of the best days of their lives – you cannot get a better result than that!"
