FUNDRAISING for Airedale Hospital's neonatal unit struck a chord with customers at a Steeton pub.
A music festival at The Goat's Head coined-in £1,500 for the unit.
And now the funds have been presented to Airedale Hospital and Community Charity, for the unit.
Seventeen acts performed at the Goatbury festival – plus there was street food, a tombola, raffle and other entertainment, and supporter David Hanson completed a sponsored walk from Leeds to Steeton.
Mike Burtoft, one of the event organisers, says: "Goatbury 2022 was a huge success. It was a brilliant effort from everyone, but it could only be achieved thanks to the fabulous team at The Goat’s Head opening its heart and giving us the stage to play for its lovely customers."
Jodie Hearnshaw, manager at Airedale Hospital and Community Charity, said: "We are so grateful to Mike, the team and customers from The Goat’s Head for organising such a fabulous event to support the charity and specifically the neonatal unit.
"The team from the neonatal unit will use the funds to enhance the experience for babies and their families using the services."
The unit provides care for babies in need of special observation, monitoring, investigations and treatments.
