A HOUSEBUILDER with schemes across the Keighley district has given its backing to the British Red Cross Ukraine Crisis Appeal.
Barratt Developments Yorkshire West has made a £500 donation, which will help provide tools and equipment needed by people in the war-torn country.
Ian Ruthven, the company's managing director, says: "We are pleased to offer support to the British Red Cross to help it provide direct aid for the people of Ukraine.
"In such a traumatic time of ongoing conflict, the charity is working hard to help those in crisis who need support the most."
The firm is thanked by Kerry Threadgill, regional fundraiser manager for the British Red Cross.
She added: "We have already supported millions of people affected by the conflict with food, water and medical care. This donation will help us continue to provide support."
Barratt developments locally include Vision in Keighley and Saxon Dene at Silsden.
