FOREST gardening will be the subject of a talk at Glusburn this month.
Pippa Chapman is guest speaker at a meeting of Glusburn & Cross Hills Gardening Society.
Anyone is welcome to attend the event – at Glusburn Community and Arts Centre, Colne Road, on Friday January 20, 7.30pm.
Derek Blackwell, for the society, says: "Pippa has recently had a book – The Plant Lover's Backyard Forest Garden – published, containing a wealth of knowledge about creating stunning multi-layered food forests in spaces big and small.
"She will be sharing useful tips on everything from seed propagation to producing healthy low-maintenance food, and along the way adding beautiful flowers for pollinators and the home."
Further information can be obtained from Mr Blackwell on 07834 713735.
