A PET retailer with a store in Keighley has announced record Christmas sales.
Jollyes, whose town outlet is at Keighley Retail Park, in Hard Ings Road, reports that sales in the four weeks to December 31 reached a new high – up 31 per cent compared to 2021.
The company says new store openings helped boost the figures but even after excluding those, like-for-like revenues were 19 per cent higher than in the previous year.
Jollyes’ busiest day last month was December 23, when it served 38,000 customers in store.
Joe Wykes, company chief executive, says: "The service our colleagues provide is one of the secrets of our current success. I want to say a massive 'thank you' to them all for their hard work."
