A BED retailer with a store in Keighley has seen its year-on-year sales rise.
Bensons for Beds says store and online investment contributed towards a strong final quarter last year, when overall sales increased by seven per cent compared to the same period in 2021.
Online sales grew by 41 per cent, with digital transactions now running at double pre-pandemic levels.
The company says higher transaction values at its stores, including the outlet at Keighley Retail Park, in Hard Ings Road, compensated for weaker footfall in a "tough" economic market.
By the end of last year Bensons was trading from 168 stores, and it aims to expand its network to between 180-190 outlets over the next two years.
Nick Collard, for Bensons, says: "Our performance provides a good indication that investments across the business are beginning to bear fruit. I’d like to thank colleagues for their dedication and hard work."
