A KEIGHLEY church is launching a 'breakfast service'.
The venture will take place on the fourth Sunday of each month at St Mark's, Utley, starting on February 26.
A continental breakfast will be served at 9.30am, and a short service will then follow from 10am.
Vicar, the Rev Natasha Thomas, says: "We realise that Sundays are not what they used to be and there are a lot more things happening for people nowadays on that day.
"Church is all about relationships with each other and with God. We therefore wanted to provide a space for people to feel that they belong, and what better way than by eating breakfast together before then worshipping God together.
"The service will be for all the family, as we want everyone to be comfortable and know that they can feel at home."
St Mark's Church, in Green Head Road, also holds a 'three o’clock service' at 3pm on alternate Sundays, as well as communion services on the first and third Sunday of each month.
