A TOP-selling author will be in Haworth this month to talk about her latest book and sign copies.
A Gift of Poison is the fourth instalment in the Bronte Mysteries series penned by Rowan Coleman, writing as Bella Ellis.
Rowan will also read from the book and take questions on the acclaimed series of works, which features the Bronte sisters as amateur 'detectives'.
The event takes place at Cobbles and Clay, in Main Street, on Wednesday, February 22, between 7pm and 8.15pm.
It is being staged with neighbouring independent bookshop, Wave of Nostalgia.
Diane Park, of Wave of Nostalgia, says: "The Bronte Mysteries have been incredibly popular with our customers. Not only are they fantastic stories in their own right, but Rowan’s incredible knowledge of the Bronte family adds a real local twist to the novels."
A Gift of Poison is set in 1847. A workhouse master is acquitted of murdering his wife but everyone thinks him guilty. When an attempt is made on his life, which he believes to be by the same person who killed his wife, the sleuthing sisters take up the case.
Tickets for the event are available, priced £5, at waveofnostalgia.co.uk/event-tickets or from the bookshop.
