TRAIN operator Northern has installed cash-free vending machines at more than 50 of its stations – including Keighley.
The company has teamed up with Decorum Vending to provide the machines, which offer a range of products including low-sugar and healthy options.
Customers can buy items contactless, via their bank card or smart phone.
The machines use low-energy technology.
Mark Powles, for Northern, says: "We have worked closely with Decorum to offer our customers the optimum mix of products to suit all tastes.
"These new machines form an important part of our work to improve the experience for our passengers.
"The income that Northern receives from the sale of products in these machines is reinvested into our ongoing programme of improvement works across trains and stations."
