A TABLETOP sale of new clothing is being staged in Keighley.
A wide range of men's and women's clothes, catalogue returns, will be on offer.
The charity sale is being held by Fresh Waters, at its Goulbourne Street warehouse, next Friday and Saturday (March 3/4).
Opening times will be 10am to 3pm, and admission is free.
"We have been given a wide selection of new clothing – from dresses to T-shirts," says Glenis Kounnas, who launched Fresh Waters with husband Chris in support of work by Samaritan’s Purse to provide clean water and promote safe hygiene practices in developing countries.
They opened a charity shop in Bridge Street, Keighley, in 2010, and two years ago reached a milestone of £100,000 raised.
The amount was enough to buy nearly 2,000 water filters and enable around 20,000 people to access clean water.
Glenis said: "We started with a tabletop sale after hearing about Samaritan’s Purse – and that made £700.
"We send as much as we can to Samaritan’s Purse but we also help people in the local community."
The warehouse was opened to collect and sell furniture and home essentials.
