KEIGHLEY RUFC have confirmed the sad passing of former player Peter McKillican, who passed away last Friday in Manorlands Hospice at the age of 63.
McKillican was a player with the club in the 1980s, mainly with the second team, but he made four first-team appearances in 1985-86 and again in 1987-88.
He was a tall, dark-haired back row forward, who left the club for a period to go to Wharfedale and further his playing career.
He was a policemen for all of his working life, stationed at Keighley or in the vice squad in Bradford.
In recent years, he had lived on his own in Trawden.
Peter requested no funeral service and so it will be a direct cremation, though some of his friends are hoping to have a gathering to celebrate his life.
