A CHARITY that helps homeless and vulnerable people has received a boost.
Homeless Not Hopeless has been given a £100 donation by Keighley Constituency Labour Party.
The money was raised through a members' collection at a new year tea event staged by Labour parliamentary candidate John Grogan.
Adrian Farley, chair of Keighley Constituency Labour Party, says: "Since the pandemic, in-person meetings have become less common.
"When we do meet as a constituency, we like to hold a collection in support of worthy causes in our area – and Homeless Not Hopeless is precisely that. It offers much-needed donations of food, clothing and other necessities to those in need, with no barriers to access."
Keighley-based Homeless Not Hopeless, founded in 2019, provides support district-wide, and a team of volunteers regularly takes hot food, clothes, toiletries and a foodbank to Bradford Forster Square.
