A NEW home lift showroom in Keighley has received the civic seal of approval.
Town mayor Councillor Luke Maunsell was amongst the guests at the official opening of the facility, at A1 Access Lifts, in Marley Street.
Others present included Keighley Cougars co-owner and chair, Mick O'Neill.
Councillor Maunsell said: "It was an absolutely excellent visit to the opening of the new showroom.
"It's a fantastic local business, which Keighley should be proud of, and I wish it all the best.
"Also, it was great to be in the presence of a local legend, Keighley Cougars' Mick O'Neill!"
An A1 Access Lifts spokesperson said: "As an Aritco certified partner, we are proud to launch the UK’s first and only showroom featuring both Aritco HomeLift and HomeLift Compact, with ridable lifts in a home environment."
The company tweeted its thanks to everyone who made the opening "as special as it was".
