CHILDREN'S Favourites will be the subject of a talk at the next meeting of the National Trust Airedale and Wharfedale Association.
Former teacher and lecturer Malcolm Johnson will speak following the group's annual general meeting, which takes place at Shipley Library on Saturday, April 15, starting at 2.30pm.
"Malcolm has been a radio listener from the 1950s onwards and Children's Favourites resulted in his great love of popular music," said a spokesperson for the association.
Formed in 1971, the National Trust Airedale & Wharfedale Association has raised thousands of pounds in support of trust properties and appeals – particularly in the north of England.
It meets monthly between September and April, and organises excursions during the spring and summer.
