A COUPLE who own a holiday home are celebrating after receiving recognition in an awards scheme.
Joanne Ingham and Daniel Capstick, who run Eames Cottage at Cowling, are winners in an initiative spearheaded by Sykes Holiday Cottages.
The Sykes Stars programme recognises owners from across the UK who consistently receive top-rated guest feedback.
Joanne and Daniel first welcomed holidaymakers to their one-bedroom holiday home, a converted garage, in December 2021.
Since then the accommodation has become a favourite with guests.
Joanne says: "It is a huge achievement for us to have been awarded a Sykes Star and we couldn’t be happier with the feedback we’ve received from guests.
"Meeting people from all walks of life has been the real joy of holiday letting."
Bev Dumbleton, chief operating officer at Sykes Holiday Cottages, says: "These awards allow us to showcase the best of the best.
"It's owners like Joanne and Daniel that make Britain’s staycation market the success it is today."
