KEIGHLEY Lions president Carole Ogden was delighted to welcome Keighley and Ilkley MP Robbie Moore to the club meeting at Sight Airedale last Tuesday.
He gave a very interesting talk on how he got into politics and the issues he is raisn gon behalf of the community,followed by a Q&A session. He was presented with a copy of Carole's recipe book which has so far raised £2,500 for Yorkshire Cancer Research.
Keighley Lions together with Sight Areidale is arranging a Coronation Fayre and Cream Tea at the Sight Airedale Rooms in Scott Street, behind the library, on Saturday, April 29 from 10am to 3pm.
Everyone is welcome to attend and any monies raised at the event will be shared between Yorkshire Cancer Research and Sight Airedale.
