KEIGHLEY town mayor Councillor Luke Maunsell has become a peer mentor with one of the charities he's supporting during his term in office.
He is amongst a group which has just completed training with mental health organisation It's Worth Talking About.
The training was carried out in conjunction with the Cellar Trust.
"This will enable us to become facilitators of groups and sessions," says Councillor Maunsell.
"I'd like to thank the Cellar Trust and It's Worth Talking About for providing such excellent training. I'm very much looking forward to putting what I've learned into practice and using it to help others.
"It's Worth Talking About is such an important cause and I've been delighted to raise money for it this year, alongside Dementia Friendly Keighley."
