TWELVE tenants from a Keighley housing group have successfully completed an IT course.
The Level 1 Digital Inclusion sessions, staged by Manningham Housing Association, covered a range of modules.
Each successful candidate received a certificate and tablet, supplied by Woodspeen Training.
Sadar Uddin, the association's community partnership and investment manager, who oversaw the training, said: "It was wonderful to see the first cohort receive its certificates and tablets. Everyone fully deserved their awards.
"The past three years, since the start of the pandemic, have been difficult for everyone. However, there have also been positives, with many people setting themselves new goals including a desire to learn different skills and take on fresh challenges.
"We are planning to launch further courses in the months ahead to give tenants the chance to access new life opportunities.
"The first 12 graduates of the Level 1 Digital Inclusion course stand as role models for what can be achieved."
Manningham Housing Association manages over 1,400 homes in Keighley and Bradford.
