THE impact on the Keighley area of the nation's last coronation will be the subject of a talk next month.
Photographer and historian Tim Neal is giving a presentation on how the area marked the coronation of the late Queen Elizabeth II in 1953.
The talk takes place at Lees Methodist Church Meeting Point on Wednesday, May 10, at 1.45pm for 2pm.
Maurice Baren, for Meeting Point, says: "Tim is always a good presenter so people can be assured they will be given a fascinating picture of life on that most important day 70 years ago.
"Everyone is very welcome to attend."
The meeting takes place at the church, which is opposite Lees Primary School.
Refreshments are available prior to the start of the talk.
