ELECTRIC vehicle charge points have been installed at four more locations in the Keighley area.
The sites are amongst 14 across the Bradford district where new chargers have been provided.
Gas Street car park at Haworth; Mill Lane layby, Steeton; Wesley Place car park in Silsden and Wilsden Royd House car park are all included.
Bradford Council has worked with contractor Blink Charging to design and install the chargers.
Funding was through an Office for Zero Emission Vehicles grant, and some council cash.
Councillor Alex Ross-Shaw, Bradford Council's portfolio holder for regeneration, planning and transport, says: "These new charge points are a welcome addition to our EV charging network.
"If we want people to switch to electric cars it's vital that we make charging as accessible as possible, particularly for those where installing a charge point at home isn't possible, either due to cost or a lack of off-street parking."
Alex Calnan, managing director of Blink Charging, says: "This substantial further investment in the region’s EV charging network demonstrates the council’s impressive ambition to deliver better living conditions for local people, businesses and visitors alike.
"We feel honoured to have been chosen to support the council in this important work."
