WEST Yorkshire's mayor will today declare the region 'open for business'.
Tracy Brabin will address delegates at the start of a three-day UK Real Estate Investment and Infrastructure Forum, in Leeds.
She will use the event, attended by thousands of business and public sector representatives, to highlight opportunities for investment in the region.
West Yorkshire Combined Authority will host several fringe events, with partners.
Ms Brabin says: "Driving regeneration and economic growth, and attracting inward investment, are key to West Yorkshire's ongoing success.
"We'll take full advantage of the forum being on our doorstep to champion our region to investors and developers from around the world.
"Taking centre stage with our local authority partners, together we will be showcasing why our region is the best place to live, work and do business.
"We are open for business!"
Mark Roberts, chair of the Leeds City Region Local Enterprise Partnership, says: "The fact that the forum is making West Yorkshire its home for a second year is testament to the thriving, vibrant business eco-system our region has to offer."
