KEIGHLEY-district projects that help people look after their hearts could receive a funding boost.
Heart Research UK is inviting applications for grants of up to £15,000.
Charities or community interest companies with an annual income of less than £1m are eligible to apply.
Projects should focus on tackling one or more heart disease risk factors, such as poor nutrition, lack of physical activity or smoking.
Kate Bratt-Farrar, for Heart Research UK, says: "We’ve seen amazing results from our grants over the years and are thrilled to be able to continue to award these.
"We’re looking for innovative projects that really will have an impact, especially if they aim to improve the health of hard to reach communities."
Visit heartresearch.org.uk/healthy-heart-grants. Applications close on Thursday, June 8.
