A NEW film shot in the region is being given a special screening at Keighley's Picture House – together with a question-and-answer session with its makers and stars.
Wait For Me will be shown at the North Street cinema on Sunday, June 11, at 5.30pm, in the company of director Keith Farrell, writer Bernard O'Toole and cast members.
The film – shot at locations including Halifax, Hebden Bridge, Leeds and Cleethorpes – stars Karen Hassan as Alison, who is trapped in a life of crime but looking to escape.
She meets Sam (Aaron Cobham), a damaged man with a troubled past, and together they hit the road in search of the child she abandoned. But the sins of her past return to haunt her.
Other cast members include Sean McGinley, Elva Trill and Rebecca Atkinson.
Picture House owner, Charles Morris, says: "It’s not often that we get to showcase a new film in the presence of its director and stars.
"Here is an opportunity to see a new film, recognise the local scenery and then ask questions of the people who made it; it promises to be a most entertaining evening."
