PEOPLE across the Keighley district are being encouraged to take part in a creature count.
Yorkshire Wildlife Trust, which runs Low Wood nature reserve at Riddlesden, is staging the annual initiative on June 24 and 25.
As part of the Great Yorkshire Creature Count, people are asked to look for and record creatures in their gardens or neighbourhood green spaces.
Participants will receive free guidance and activity ideas, plus a starting list of creatures to spot.
Rachael Bice, for the trust, says: "From backyards to local parks, you’ll be surprised what creatures you see when you start looking!
"The count continues to grow in popularity and we want to inspire even more people to discover the beauty on their doorstep."
