A LEADING entrepreneur and ambassador for small independent businesses is flying the flag for Haworth.
Holly Tucker, founder of notonthehighstreet and Holly & Co, has singled out the village's Main Street as one of just seven high streets nationally for praise.
Traders can fly specially-designed flags and will be promoted throughout the summer as part of the Holly’s High Streets campaign.
The initiative has been launched today (June 24) to coincide with Shop Independent Day.
A campaign spokesperson said: "The aim is to shine a light on the UK’s finest high streets, where wonderful independent shops thrive. We’re kick-starting with seven streets where shops have personalities and are filled with unique products."
The other chosen streets are in Darlington, Folkestone, Frome, Hexham, Holt and Twickenham.
