MANORLANDS has paid tribute to supporters of an annual walk which raised over £8,000.
Proceeds from the Wharfedale Pub Walk have been handed over to Sue Ryder, which runs the Oxenhope Sue Ryder hospice.
Around 180 people took part in the event, which covered a ten-mile route through the Yorkshire Dales.
Entrants once again included a team from regular walk supporter Bulloughs Cleaning Services, which raised £2,500.
The event was sponsored by Dark Horse Brewery.
Adam Brunskill, community fundraiser at Manorlands, says: "This year's Wharfedale Pub Walk was our best yet.
"Everyone who took part added to an amazing atmosphere from start to finish, and together raised an incredible amount for Sue Ryder.
"I'd like to say 'thank you' to everyone who took part and raised money, especially the team from Bulloughs Cleaning Services for its very generous donation – the Wharfedale Pub Walk wouldn't be the same without them!"
