A FLAMENCO guitarist from East Morton is to perform at a top New York concert venue.
Samuel Moore will appear at Carnegie Hall next Saturday (July 15) after enjoying success in the prestigious Manhattan International Music Competition.
He described the opportunity to perform solo at the legendary hall as "a dream come true".
"I never imagined this would happen!" he added.
"It was an honour to win the prize in the Manhattan competition. I was particularly humbled to be the only British prizewinner, as well as the only winner to specialise in a musical discipline outside of the classical tradition."
Samuel learned his craft under the guidance of some of the world's leading flamenco performers, including Juan Martín and Grisha Goryachev.
He's gone on to perform at venues across the UK, Europe and North America.
Over the years, Carnegie Hall has welcomed stars ranging from Billie Holiday to The Beatles.
