MODEL rail enthusiasts will be making tracks for Keighley next weekend.
Aire Valley Railway Modellers Club is staging a free open day at its Melbourne Mills, Dalton Lane, clubrooms on Sunday, August 20, from 10am-4pm.
Over a dozen layouts in various gauges will be in operation, plus there'll be refreshments, model railway sales and representation from company JS Models.
Many layouts have an old West Riding theme, and visitors will be able to see some under construction.
Also, there will be contributions from members of Billingham Railway Modellers.
Visitors should note that access to the second-floor clubrooms is via stairs, and no lift is available.
The club is going from strength to strength, with a membership of over 70, including an active junior group.
Meetings are every Tuesday and Thursday between 7pm and 11pm, and on Saturdays from 1pm to 5pm.
