A KEIGHLEY-based mental health organisation's partnership with a football club is expanding.
From next season, Steeton AFC Under-13s will be part of a club link-up with It's Worth Talking About, whose logo will be displayed on players' shirts and events will take place to raise awareness and funds.
Andy Clements, who co-founded It's Worth Talking About and has two sons playing for the team, established the partnership with team manager Damien Whiteoak.
Ryan Anderton, of It's Worth Talking About, says: "Partnerships with local sports clubs have emerged as a core way that we engage with our community and in spreading our message of promoting positive mental health and wellbeing through the power of communication and connection with others. We are delighted that we will now be able to reach young people throughout the district through this unique partnership."
Steeton AFC will also be wearing training tops displaying the It's Worth Talking About logo on the front after Keighley businessman Martin Jackson, of CJ Motors in Dalton Lane, sponsored the club and gifted the space to the mental health organisation.
