KEIGHLEY Horticultural Society's 185th annual show was a blooming success.
The event was held as part of Keighley Show, at Marley playing fields.
A society spokesperson says: "Crowds flocked into our marquee, which was packed with more than 400 exhibits of flowers, fruit and vegetables. This was double the number compared to last year.
"The society was delighted to welcome national champion growers who had travelled to the event from various parts of the country.
"Especially pleasing this year was the high number of novice and children's entrants – these are the future of show gardening."
The show also included a display of photos, literature and artefacts from across the decades to mark the society's 190th anniversary.
Earlier this summer, the society – which is one of the oldest horticultural groups in the country – had issued an appeal for anyone with memorabilia to get in touch.
