FARMERS have received the backing of Keighley MP Robbie Moore.
He attended a Downing Street reception, with farmers from across the UK, to discuss what more could be done to support the sector.
And he wore the pin badge emblem of Back British Farming Day, organised by the National Farmers' Union, during Prime Minister's Questions.
"I'm incredibly proud to represent farmers and growers across the Keighley constituency," says Mr Moore, who before becoming an MP served the agriculture industry.
He grew up on his family’s farm in Lincolnshire and then trained to be a chartered rural surveyor.
Since joining Parliament, he has been a member of the Environment, Food and Rural Affairs committee.
He added: "Our farmers work tirelessly, going above and beyond to grow and produce the very best food for us all to enjoy.
"I want to thank all involved in the food and farming sector. You'll always have my support."
In a recent online poll, farming was ranked second only to nursing as the most respected profession.
