PEOPLE are being given the chance to have their say as a community plan is drawn up for Keighley.
A series of events is being held across the area where residents can call in and give their views.
Once adopted, neighbourhood plans form part of the overall planning policy framework for the Bradford district.
They are used by the local authority when making decisions over planning applications. And developers can refer to them in putting together proposals.
Keighley Town Council has started the process of formulating a plan, and a working group is overseeing its development.
Public events planned are: Tuesday (September 26) - Sue Belcher Centre, 3-6pm; Tuesday, October 3 – Morton Institute, 2-4pm, and Parkwood Youth Centre, 6-8pm; Wednesday, October 4 – Hainworth Wood Community Centre, 1-3pm; Monday, October 9 – Holden Hall, Oakworth, 2-4pm, and Riddlesden United Reformed Church, 6-8pm; Tuesday, October 10 – Highfield Community Centre, 1-3pm; Monday, October 16 – St Mark's Church, Utley, 11.30am-2.30pm; Wednesday, October 18 – Laycock Village Hall, 6-8pm; Thursday, October 19 – Good Shepherd Centre, 9.30am-noon; and Monday, October 23 – Sangat Community Centre, 4-6pm.
