FUNDRAISING was on the menu at Denholme Youth Cafe.
Julie Wood and Kelly Robertson, from the cafe, organised a fourth bake-off competition.
And the event coined-in £537 for the charity.
All entrants were from the community.
Kelly thanks everyone who supported the event.
"Without our entrants of course the bake-off wouldn't be a success but also we rely on the community's support by buying raffle tickets, playing the tombola and purchasing slices of cake on the day," she says.
"We were also supported by a number of companies, through donations of prizes. Without the backing of those businesses for our event we wouldn't have raised the amount we did, so we thank them. Times are hard, and their generosity is greatly appreciated.
"A big 'thank you' also goes to the judges and to our volunteers and all our supporters this year. We now look forward to planning next year's event!"
